Over 1000 Prescott residents gathered together for a community group photo Saturday afternoon, in celebration of the city's coming 150th birthday.
One person in the crowd was Walt Minucci, who was born May 17, 1918 on Whiskey Row in the Arizona Hotel. Today the Arizona Hotel is Bricks and Bones, a popular downtown restaurant.
Generations of families also gathered for the photo. Amanda Chartier, an art teacher at Prescott High School joined her mother, grandmother and daughter as part of four generations to live in Prescott.
There will be further celebrations on the weekend of May 30 - June 1, 2014, which will take place at the Courthouse Plaza, Mile High Middle School, Sharlot Hall Museum and the Rodeo Grounds. See the City of Prescott's website for further information.
