Yavapai College Performing Arts Center Announces 2016-17 Satellite Season for Bolshoi Ballet, Metropolitan Opera and National Theatre Events

Breathtaking dance from the Bolshoi Ballet in Moscow. Stirring voices from Metropolitan Opera in New York; captivating stories from the National Theatre of London – Yavapai College Performing Arts Center’s 2016-17 season of satellite broadcasts brings the finest performing artistry the world can offer to the big screen at the Yavapai Performing Arts Center in Prescott.

The National Theatre of London’s National Theatre Live series will broadcast its finest recent productions to YCPAC on selected Thursday nights at 6 p.m., beginning Sept. 15 with One Man, Two Guvnors – and its uproarious, Tony Award-winning performance from The Late Late Show’s James Corden. The National follows with Frankenstein, Oct. 6, featuring Sherlock’s Benedict Cumberbatch as the creature. On Nov. 3, follow Helen Mirren’s unforgettable Queen Elizabeth through sixty years and twelve prime ministers in The Audience.

Hangmen, a deeply funny play about a laid-off executioner and his pub, closes out NTL offerings Mar. 3.
