Help support the Dakota Robbins Family.

On April 20, Dakota Robbins, 12, underwent unexpected brain surgery. It’s something that would be difficult for any family, throwing schedules and finances into disarray. But it’s even more daunting if you’re a single mom.

So, Annaka Bernardo, the 2018 International United Miss Arizona, decided to help the community pitch in to offer assistance to this family in a couple of different ways.

You can sign up to bring meals at Meal Train. All the details are there - which nights are available, what kind of food Dakota likes and much more. You can also make a financial donation at the Meal Train site.

Or, the easiest way is to eat at Chick-fil-A on Tuesday, May 1 and mention Spirit Night. 15% of your order will be donated to the family. After all, you’ve got to eat anyway, so why not let your dinner do double duty?

Annaka explained, "I'm doing a fundraiser for a 12-year-old boy in Prescott Valley who had brain surgery unexpectedly last Friday. His mom is a single mom & had to take off a month of work. The fundraiser is at Chick fil-a in Prescott Valley on Tuesday, May 1st from 5pm-8pm. They are going to donate 15% of orders of anyone that says they are there for Spirit Night between those hours."
