It’s the Christmas season, and no place has more holiday spirit than the Elks Theater! Plenty of Music & Classic Movies are on the schedule for December. 

Tickets for the concerts range from $20-25, depending on the show and the seat location. All that is asked for the movies is a cash donation. 

But first! Don’t forget Acker Night. Here are some of the acts scheduled for the 2nd and 3rd floors, with all proceeds benefitting Acker Night.

 THE 3 INTERNATIONAL TENORS – LIVE IN CONCERT is a tribute to some of the finest music in the world and features show stopping performances celebrating the virtuoso and careers of Luciano Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli, Enrico Caruso and others. 

This stirring show includes renditions of some of the most memorable songs ever written like “Time to Say Goodbye,” “Ave Maria,” “Nessun Dorma,” and some of the most beloved Christmas songs. Blue Christmas – A Rock ‘n’ Roll Holiday Extravaganza

The holidays were always a very special time for The King of Rock n' Roll. For Elvis, the holidays meant a time of sharing with friends, family, and even complete strangers!  

No expense was spared when it came to decorating Graceland for Christmas, and Elvis took the same approach when it came time to record holiday music. During his lifetime, he released three albums of songs to celebrate the season, which have since been re-packaged and re-configured many different ways.  

This heart-warming show features some of The King's best loved holiday favorites mixed in with a healthy dose of top hits from throughout his career.

A Christmas Story

Christmas is approaching and 9 year-old Ralphie wants only one thing: a Red Ryder Range 200 Shot BB gun. When he mentions it at the dinner table, his mother's immediate reaction is that he'll shoot his eye out. He then decides on a perfect theme for his teacher but her reaction is like his. He fantasizes about what it would be like to be Red Ryder and catch the bad guys.

When the big day arrives he gets lots of present under the tree including a lovely gift from his aunt that his mother just adores. But what about the BB gun?

Nation Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

December 12th, 2018 | 7 PM

Clark Wilhelm Griswold had some disastrous vacations at both Wallyworld and in Europe. Now he wants to compensate for this by having a special "Griswold Family Christmas", and after months of careful planning he invites both of his parents, both of his wife, Ellen's parents even his uncle Louis and his senile aunt Bethany.

However, what Clark does not realize that his no-manner cousin-in law Eddie was coming over in his new trailer. Clark even prepares his house for Christmas with over 20,000 lights and a tree that does not even fit in the living room.

As Christmas eve comes, Clark will soon realize that a series of unfortunate events will start to unravel for him, as the Christmas Turkey would burst and have no meat, his aunt's cat would chew on the lights and his uncle Louis will burn up his tree, and he will even soon discover that his boss have cut the Christmas bonus to give him a month in the jelly club, can Clark keep it together and understand the true meaning of Christmas?

How The Grinch Stole Christmas

December 19th, 2018 | 7 PM

In this live-action adaptation of the beloved children's tale by Dr. Seuss, the reclusive green Grinch decides to ruin Christmas for the cheery citizens of Whoville. Reluctantly joined by his hapless dog, Max, the Grinch comes down from his mountaintop home and sneaks into town to swipe everything holiday-related from the Whos.

However, the bitter grump finds a hitch in his plans when he encounters the endearing Cindy Lou Who.
