Prescott Regional SciTechFest To Offer Day Of Learning, Fun and Prizes

Free Event Will Promote STEM In Prescott And Surrounding Communities

WHAT:  Part of a statewide celebration of science, technology, engineering, mathematics and the arts (STEM+A), the fourth annual Prescott Regional SciTechFest will feature over thirty interactive workshops, exhibits, and presentations/demonstrations from local schools, businesses, and public agencies. Robotics and unmanned aircraft demonstrations, hands-on forensics science activities, and boom truck rides are just a few of the features at this year’s regional SciTechFest.

“It is our hope to inspire members of the quad-city area, especially young people, to champion academic excellence and creativity, and pursue careers in science and technology,” said Dr. Anne Boettcher, Prescott SciTechFest Committee Member and Director of the Undergraduate Research Institute and Honors Program at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

WHERE:  ERAU Activity Center and Athletic Complex, 3700 Willow Creek Road, Prescott, Ariz. (Directional signs will be posted on campus)

WHEN:  10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 23, 2019
