Halloween isn’t just for trick-or-treating. You can register for classes, too!

Open registration for Yavapai College (YC) spring semester classes begins at 7 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 31. Classes start Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017.

Whether you’re preparing for transfer to a 4-year university, pursuing a technical career, or just curious about a particular subject, you can find plenty of options at six Yavapai College campuses throughout the county.

Visit the website at http://www.yc.edu to browse YC’s online catalog which features dozens of degree and certificate programs and hundreds of courses ranging from anthropology to Zumba. Classes are offered in-person, online, and in a combination known as “hybrid.”

Financial aid is still available—students should apply for the 2016-17 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.ed.gov. Students who are awarded aid will be notified by the Yavapai College Office of Financial aid within one to two weeks of applying.

Registration must be completed online at www.yc.edu/enroll. Assistance with registration is available by calling the Yavapai College Answer Center at 928-445-2149 or 928-634-6520.
