Governor Ducey on Memorial Day

PHOENIX — In honor of Memorial Day, Governor Doug Ducey today released the following statement:

“Memorial Day is a powerful reminder that at this very moment, brave men and women are out on the front lines to defend our country and our way of life. I want every service member, veteran and family member of the fallen to know you have Arizona’s and this nation’s eternal gratitude. Let us resolve to remember and to give thanks for those who laid down their lives for this great land. Let us also remember those missing in action, those who served and those who continue to serve.”
Flags at all state office buildings will be lowered to half-staff Monday, May 28th at sunrise until noon.

This Memorial Day weekend, I hope you will join me in taking a moment to tell a veteran thanks and to honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice. God bless our veterans. God bless the United States of America.
