It's Almost Time! #StayCowboy!

25 June 2018
Our favorite local event, the Prescott Frontier Days’ World’s Oldest Rodeo is almost upon us.

Look - we're so excited, we did a screenshot just as we were writing this article:

There is so much to look forward to as the top cowboys and cowgirls in the world come to our neighborhood to try to win a piece of that $300,000 cash purse - the largest ever in Prescott.

Here’s the skinny on this year’s Rodeo!

Starting Thursday, June 28, there will be 8 performances, 6 in the evening, and 2 during the day.

Performance #1  -  Thursday, June 28, 2018 - 7:30 PM

Performance #2  -  Friday, June 29, 2018 -  7:30 PM

Performance #3  -  Saturday, June 30, 2018  -  1:30 PM

Performance #4  -  Saturday, June 30, 2018 - 7:30 PM

Performance #5  -  Sunday, July 1, 2018  -  7:30 PM

Performance #6  -  Monday, July 2, 2018  -  7:30 PM

Performance #7  -  Tuesday, July 3, 2018  -  7:30 PM

Performance #8  -  Wednesday, July 4, 2018  -  1:30 PM

Parking opens up about 2 hours before the performances, so arrive early, get a great parking place and check out the vendors. Bring a few extra bucks, you’ll be able to get great eats, western apparel, hats and  jewelry. You might even get a chance to ride a bull yourself - a mechanical one, that is!

The performances will typically last between 1 1/2 and 2 hours, and it’s a non-stop show without intermissions.

Happy Hearts Rodeo for Exceptional Children

This special event gives the kids a chance to experience the rodeo first hand. Rodeo events are modified and take place in the arena and on the ground so each contestant can participate. This is in partnership with PRCA and Horses with Heart.

Takes place on June 28, about 5:00 PM.

Kiwanis Kiddie Parade

June 29th, at 9 AM. But judging will start at 8:30 AM, so kiddos should arrive earlier than that.
