Introducing the Arizona Philharmonic

09 August 2018
The debut concert for the Arizona Philharmonic will take place on Sunday, August 26 at 5 PM at the Yavapai College Performing Arts Center (YCPAC).

There’s a new music scene in town, and it promises to be quite exciting. The Arizona Philharmonic, or the AZ Phil  as it’s called, is presenting its inaugural concert, titled Currents, showcasing the works of composter Henry Flurry. The concert features Prescott’s Steinway Artist James d’Leon, marimbist Maria Flurry and conductor Peter Bay of the Austin Symphony.

This has been a pet project of Toni Tenille, who has been working on bringing a professional orchestra to Prescott for quite some time. She explains what it means to the community:

If you are interested in attending the debut concert, you can purchase tickets at YCPAC either online or at their box office.
