Quad Cities Relay for Life to Help American Cancer Society

19 May 2019   Sherry Williams
Join the Relay for Life of the Quad Cities for an exciting night to help the American Cancer Society attack on cancer.

The opening ceremonies begin at 6 PM.  There is a dinner for cancer survivors at 4:30 PM.

There will be games, great fun (including dance offs, lip sync contest (start rehearsing now), frozen tee shirt contest, cop car pull, raffles & much, much more.  Activities for adults and kids.   The Iron Horse Grill food truck will also be there with their awesome food.

Make sure to stay for the Luminaria Ceremony at 9:00 PM.  This is an amazing ceremony to honor survivors and remember those that have lost the battle to cancer and bring hope for a better tomorrow.   Bring a can of food with you.  These cans are used to hold the bags for the Luminary Ceremony and are then donated to the Yavapai Food Bank.

The American Cancer Society cause is to fight cancer on every front;  standing shoulder to shoulder with cancer patient and supporting them.  Funds raised help in the development of breakthrough therapies as well as provide local assistance to cancer patients by providing rides to chemo treatments, lodging at away treatments, wigs, counseling to help them in their personal fight & much more.

Cancer touches everyone but – TOGETHER WE CAN WIN – join us on May 31st.
