Typical June weather this week. A few showers today in far southeastern Arizona, but dry in the Prescott region. Wednesday will be our warmest day so far this year, with highs about 5 degrees above normal, while Thursday will be a little on the windy side. Friday through Sunday will return to normal or slightly cooler than normal, translating into nice weather for being outdoors to catch up on all that weeding.

The latest sea surface temperature (SST) anomaly map (attached) still shows cooler than normal SSTs in the Gulf of California, although there has been some recovery to near-normal temperatures in the northern Gulf.
