K9 Stops Result in Methamphetamine and Marijuana Seizure 

Chino Valley Police K9’s made two stops in the past three days resulting in seizure of 57 grams of Methamphetamine (2.01oz) and 6 grams of Marijuana. 

The first stop was on Saturday November 29, 2014 at approx.. 8:00 pm. The driver, 56 year old Prescott resident, Curtis Podczerviensky was stopped for a traffic offense. On the traffic stop the K9 Officer located 19 grams of Methamphetamine in individual packages, baggies and a scale were located. Mr. Podczerviensky was booked into the Yavapai County Jail on charges of possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, transport dangerous drugs for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Information was also learned that Mr. Podczerviensky has another open sales case currently pending in Yavapai County Superior Court. 

The second stop was on Monday, December 1, 2014 at approx.. 8:30 am. The driver, 35 year old Whittier California resident, Cheri Remmenga was stopped for a traffic offense. On the traffic stop the K9 Officer located 38 grams of Methamphetamine and 6 grams of Marijuana. Ms. Remmenga was booked into the Yavapai County Jail on charges of possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, transport dangerous drugs for sale, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ms. Remmenga has an extensive criminal history including numerous drug offenses, receiving stolen property, grand theft and violating parole.
