If you looked up this morning somewhere in the quad-city area, and saw floating balloons, there is no need for surprise. This is the weekend for the Annual PV Balloon Fest, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Prescott Valley.
According to their website, it’s the 5th Annual BalloonFest, a fun, family-oriented event for the local communities.
The BalloonFest helps to raise funds for the Rotary Club Foundation, with projects including Bradshaw Mountain High School Interact Club and the Rotary Youth Leadership Award.
If you didn’t get to see them this morning, no worries. The balloons will be flying tomorrow morning (Sunday), also.
Here’s the schedule:
6:00 AM Field Opens to Public
6:45 AM – 7:30 AM Balloon launch
7:00 AM – 9:00 AM Tethered balloon rides ($20 per person)
