  • Prescott National Forest officials hosted an open house for its new Verde Ranger Station.
  • The Prescott Unified School District Board approved an intergovernmental agreement with the Mountain Institute on Tuesday night.
  • Yavapai County Supervisor Carol Springer hosted a town hall meeting in Paulden Thursday night.
  • Former Prescott City Councilman Marlin Kuykendall was elected Mayor outright in Tuesday's Primary.
  • None of the 8 candidates seeking one of 3 Council seats were elected outright, so 6 will be heading to the November General Election.
  • Prescott voters overwhelmingly approved an extension of the sales tax for streets.
