Roughriders Score 7 Goals in Home Opener

The Roughriders notched a solid win against South Mountain Community College.

The Yavapai College soccer team scored a season high seven goals Thursday night against South Mountain Community College in a 7-3 Prescott home opener at Ken Lindley Field. The Roughriders improve their overall record to 4-1-1 and their ACCAC mark at 4-1-1. South Mountain falls to 1-5-0 on the year and in conference play.

Yavapai returns to league action on Tuesday, September 13th at Rose Mofford Park in Phoenix against Gateway Community College. Kick-off will be at 4:30 PM.
